What is CoachToon.com?
CoachToon.com is a blog (weblog) website about everything in coaching BUT technique and X’s & O’s. We will talk about all the stuff that drives coaches crazy – team building, leadership, excellence on and off the playing field, organization, time management, rules, culture and so on. This blog is dedicated to sharing best practices and helping all coaches develop their art.
Who is Coach Toon?
Coach Toon is a jack-of-all (coaching) trades and a master of a few. Her quest to gain
an edge on the competition led Coach Toon down many paths: Sports medicine, exercise physiology, nutrition, time management and sports psychology to name a few.

Kathy’s Mission
My mission is two-fold: first, to act as a resource for high school and college coaches as they develop their “art of coaching”; and second, to give back to sport related non-profit causes. I believe many of the life skills inherent in sport lie outside the realm of coaching “X’s and O’s” and reside in the art of coaching. I am committed to supporting coaches in developing their art.
A portion of the profits from my work are donated to sport related non-profit causes. I’m passionate about promoting positive coaching (www.positivecoach.org) and building positive places for kids (www.bgca.org) and other entrepreneurial causes.
